Driven by fear and strengthened by instinct, Sanger Rainsford fights valiantly, in Richard Connells The more or less Dangerous Game, to best General Zaroff at his own game. Although so angiotensin converting enzymer undeveloped, the characters in the story still give the reader something to consociate to. The theme, although presented in a unique fashion, depicts yet another anadiplosis of the epic struggle between good and evil. Regardless of the some twists and turns, Connells employment of plot manipulation still leaves room for a great deal of excitement in the story. By front examining and then combining Connells use of plot, characters, and theme, one can turn over the obvious escapism in The Most Dangerous Game.

Aside from the beginning, Connells use of plot manipulation does not stand out. Connell first uses a highly improbable event to set the basis for his story. The events that act on do so in a more or less believable and orderly manner. One can notice the prime example when, after learning of Zaroffs grizzly hobby, Rainsford finds himself the prey. so far though Connells uses subtle plot manipulation, the story does not sanction from lack of excitement and intrigue.

Due to the short length of the text, the characters of Zaroff and Rainsford await rather undeveloped. Zaroff portrays the cold, methodical, and ruthless hunter; his decision to prolong the game individually day does not fit with this. Rainsford begins the story with a beware set that follows closely to that of Zaroff, but by the end, his foreshadow of sentiment has taken a complete reversal. Although extenuating circumstances comfortably explain Rainsfords change in disposition, Zaroffs do not seem to have a logical explanation.



Although Connells characters engage the reader they point to a main focus other than themselves.

It is an average essay. Rather truncated and point-like. There is room for more indepth detail and discussion, although you said yourself it is a short book. The introduction could do with a little re-working as some parts sound like they have been copied from the prologue. different than that not a bad effort for a figure 12 paper, although I would have given it 10% less.
