In only situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated, and a child humanised or dehumanised?(Gui nont, 1976)We hear a hazard about children?s rights and teachers? rights as well. However, although a lot of furiousness is given to students? rights, this is mainly against physical abuse. Emotional abuse is slenderly left at the side and in my opinion it is not being given the importance it should get. Although physical abuse is truly intimidating to the child, emotional abuse is much more foul to the children since it superpower lead them to a trauma which haunts them throughout their lives.
In fact, having myself gone through a similar down, today I realise how much a simple action might influence a student?s life. Actually I don?t remember much from my primary trail years; however I remember preferably a negative experience. Despite this, in general I shut up remember primary education as quite a positive experience.
As a result to this, I neer thought that this negative experience influenced me or my life in any way, until we started this course, since we were encouraged to think and reflect on our experience throughout our primary years.
