This paper discusses how has the environment influenced Claes Oldenburg art in the world history. Many journals and reputable educational publications recognize the fact that Claes was born and brought up in a neighborhood whose streets, public buildings such as cinema halls and churches were full of artworks for instance sculptors and paintings. Such a magnificent surrounding is thought to have given Claes all the inspiration and thrust he needed to become a refined sculptor he was in the world history.
